A Doodle alternative for finding the time that suits the group best

Doodle is the tool most people think of for group scheduling: you propose times, people vote, you pick a winner. It works, and it does a lot more than polls — booking pages, 1:1 scheduling, sign-up sheets.

PrestoCal does one job: finding the best time for a group, and doing it with less back-and-forth. Instead of voting on each time, participants rank them — 1 for preferred, 2 or 3 for acceptable, ✕ if they can't make it — and when the last person responds, PrestoCal scores the results, confirms the best slot and emails everyone.

When Doodle is the better choice

• You need booking pages or 1:1 scheduling. PrestoCal is for group meetings only.
• You want sign-up sheets, or a broader scheduling suite in one place.
• You rely on video-conferencing integrations. Doodle lists Zoom and Google Meet on Free, and Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zapier on its Professional plan. PrestoCal has no integrations: you paste your meeting link in and it goes into the confirmation.
• You want a long-established product with a large user base.

When PrestoCal is the better choice

• People's preferences differ. Ranking shows which time is best, not only which times are possible.
• One or two people must be there. Priority attendees make sure their availability decides it.
• You're tired of chasing. The best slot is confirmed the moment everyone has replied, and you can remind stragglers in one click.
• You'd rather not show ads to the people you invite.
• Your group is mostly one-off or recurring team meetings and you want the simplest path to a confirmed time.
